This Thursday, August 12^th, OLEHENRIKSEN FACE/BODY/SPA will be participating in the Grand Reopening of the Sunset Strip by joining in a celebratory block party - and YOU'RE INVITED! Over the past 7 months, the strip has undergone some major renovations. After more than 75 years, it really needed some updating!

The Sunset Strip Beautification Project’s updates included traffic signal equipment, crosswalks, roadways, sidewalks and planting beautiful flowers and trees. Another exciting addition was the public art project called GuitarTown which features twenty-six 10-foot tall fiberglass Gibson guitars. These works of art were created by local and nationally acclaimed artists and can be seen throughout the strip for the next 6 months.

The grand reopening kicks off with an official ribbon cutting ceremony outside of the Andaz Hotel and The Comedy Store at 5 p.m. featuring a caravan of classic cars driving down the boulevard. The Sunset Strip will continue to celebrate the night away with extended shopping hours, retail offers and discounts, giveaways, drink specials, DJs and live acoustic performances.

OLEHENRIKSEN FACE/BODY/SPA will host a table outside of Le Clafoutis where you can be escorted by models downstairs for complimentary signature mini hand treatments, product samples and refreshing african red tea to drink!

On May 1^st, OLEHENRIKSEN FACE/BODY Spa is proud to team up with EcoBabyWorld and the American Red Cross for their 1^st Annual Green Event. The event will be held at the beautiful Bel Air Bay Club, located on a bluff with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean! We’ll be hosting the luxurious on-site spa suite where we’ll be providing over 200 invitees with customized spa treatments!

"I am absolutely thrilled to be working alongside Red Cross and their incredible staff for this event," says EcoBabyWorld's CEO Jeanne Holm Ackah. "Eco-friendly products are becoming important in the everyday lives of families, and we are thrilled to be able to showcase some amazing companies that represent the best in their field," she says.

EcoBabyWorld was established by Jeanne when she started using natural products on her newborn daughter’s skin and discovered that it cleared up any rashes and dry skin overnight!

Green Carpet arrivals begin at 10 am and by noon, and award ceremony honoring IN STYLE Magazine’s Kelly Austing will begin. Kelly is receiving the 2010 EcoBabyWorld/American Red Cross “Inspirational Mom of the Year Award” for her exceptional efforts in the fight against Autism and her commitment to using eco-friendly products as a way to help overcome many afflictions and diseases.

All proceeds from the invitation-only event will directly benefit the American Red Cross, Santa Monica Chapter. This star-studded and family friendly event highlighting socially conscious products and companies alike is set to be unforgettable!
